A self-healing cutting mat in A4 format for a modeling workshop. It protects the table from a knife and at the same time saves the blade, because in the soft top material the cut closes by itself, so the surface does not stay furrowed and the knife does not blunt as much. The A4 format fits on an ordinary workbench as well as into a smaller set-up and it is easy to put away.
For anyone who builds on a table that is not a workshop bench and must not suffer. Modelers who work alternately in different places will appreciate it too, because the mat marks out a clean working surface and after work it can be put aside with the part-built model on it.
Do not expose the mat to heat and do not use it as a surface under soldering or a hot air gun, because the material will be permanently damaged. Do not cut on it with a blunt blade, because that tears the surface instead of letting it close.
