AMMO Damp Earth

A ready-to-use weathering effect based on enamel paints by the manufacturer AMMO of Mig Jimenez, imitating damp soil and mud. Once dry it gives a satin (slightly glossy) surface of the kind freshly dampened soil has. It is used to dirty the lower areas of models, suspensions and running gear, and diorama bases where the model meets the terrain.

Use

• Applied with a brush or a spatula onto the lower areas of the model, the suspension, wheels and tracks, or onto the surface of a base.
• The extent and the shape of the deposit can be adjusted with a clean brush moistened in an enamel thinner until the effect sets.
• Can be combined with pigments and other mud and dust effects to grade the color and the wetness of the soil.
• For bulkier, textured deposits of mud it can be mixed with plaster or with a modeling paste.

For modelers of military vehicles and builders of dioramas who want a realistic rendering of damp soil and mud on vehicles and in the terrain. Suitable for more advanced weathering and for beginners willing to experiment.

This is a ready-to-use solvent-based (enamel) weathering product and it is flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area, away from open flame.
