This is a scenic medium for building dioramas, not a finished object and not a kit. The name settles two things: the shade is dark green and the material comes in the form of clumps, that is irregular clusters that can be torn into smaller pieces and glued individually. Look for the exact volume, weight and grain coarseness on the packaging.
Vegetation is applied to a diorama only at a later stage, when the shape of the terrain, the base color of the surface and the coarse scatter are finished. The clumps suit the crowns of bushes and trees, the undergrowth beneath them, hedges and climbing greenery over walls and ruins. The dark green shade works as the lower, shaded layer, with lighter tones then added on top to imitate the lit tops. A uniform area of one green reads as artificial, so always work with at least two shades.
Tear a clump into a piece roughly the size the finished bush should be, dip the underside into thinned PVA glue and press it into place. Once dry, fix the whole area with a light overspray, either of matte varnish or of atomized thinned glue. Always try the fixing on a small offcut first, so that you know how the material reacts to the product in question and whether it changes the look. Apply in thin layers and let each one dry.
