De Gaulle's Horch 830 BL is a kit of a historic passenger car made of plastic bricks — the parts click together, with no glue and no painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the historic Horch 830 BL passenger car from the brand COBI. The model is put together from plastic bricks that click into one another and hold without glue. The bricks are colored from the factory, so nothing is sprayed, sanded or filled. The set belongs to the historic range in which COBI builds passenger and commercial vehicles of the first half of the twentieth century, and once built the model is meant for display rather than for play in a sandpit.
The Horch 830 was a German upper-class passenger car of the 1930s, powered by a V8 engine. Cars of this class were built in closed and open coachwork forms and were used as representative and staff vehicles. The 830 BL version belonged to the later forms of the range, with a lengthened wheelbase. The set refers to a particular car associated with Charles de Gaulle — hence the name of the set.
You work from a picture guide step by step and need no glue, paints or tools. Before you start, sort the bricks by color and size into dishes — hunting for one part in a heap is the most common hold-up. If parts have to be separated, use a plastic brick separator or the edge of another brick, not a knife or pliers. The small fittings on the hood, the fenders and the radiator grille hold best when you press them straight down as they click in, not at an angle. Do not leave the finished model in direct sunlight, as plastic lightens over time.
This is a kit of plastic bricks, not a plastic model. Glue, paints and filler are not needed and are not included in the package.
