This is a diorama accessory from the Dynamo-Models range, not a vehicle kit and not a figure. The plaque carries the flag of Free France, given in the name as Drapeau De La France Libre, and serves to mark a base, a display case or a finished scene. The size of 25 mm is given directly in the name; the same subject also comes out in a 40 mm variant, so go by the figure in millimeters when choosing.
The Drapeau De La France Libre is the flag of Free France: the French tricolor with the Cross of Lorraine added. It came about in 1940 as a recognition mark of the units which after the defeat of France went on fighting alongside the Allies, and it went with them until the liberation. It is not the badge of a single formation but the symbol of a whole movement, so it suits scenes with ground vehicles, with aircraft and with ships.
A plaque belongs in a clearly visible place, most often on the front edge of a base or on the frame of a display case. Try the layout dry: the middle of the front edge reads formally, while shifting it toward the edge leaves room for a caption with the name of the scene. The badge comes out best on a plain and rather dark ground, because a broken-up surface visually breaks up its design. Leave a clear margin around the plaque so that it is not lost among the details of the diorama. Anyone who builds several scenes on one army will do well to keep the size of the plaques and their placing the same. The material and the surface finish are stated on the box, so choose the finishing procedure according to what you find in the package.
