A paint from the Dry Brush range by Green Stuff World in a 30 ml bottle. It is not a brush and not a weathering paste, but an acrylic paint worked with the dry brushing technique. The name of the Aqua Oxide shade heads for the blue-green area that weathered copper and bronze surfaces have.

Why dry brushing pays off

It is the fastest way to turn flat paint into a legible surface. The paint is applied with an almost dried-out brush and settles only where the brush reaches, that is on the peaks of cast texture, on the edges of plates, on rivets and on coarse relief. The hollows stay in the darker tone of the base and a contrast arises that the eye evaluates as depth. What is actually modeled on the model is thus brought out.

Use

• It works best on an intricate surface, that is on cast stone and brick texture, cast parts, load beds and coarsely textured bases.
• Always choose a base darker than the shade being applied, otherwise the difference will not be apparent once dry.
• Pick the paint up on the tip of the brush and wipe the excess off on a towel until only a faint mark is left after a stroke.
• Keep the strokes short and across the texture, not repeatedly round and round in one place.
• Apply only to a perfectly dry base, so that the lower coat is not smeared.

Who the paint is for

For builders of dioramas and accessories with pronounced texture and for wargaming players. The blue-green tone is rewarding on copper roofs, statues, piping, boilers and fantasy elements. It does not suit the ordinary camouflage scheme of military vehicles; earth and gray shades are reached for there.

Keep the paint out of the reach of children, close the bottle carefully after use and work in a ventilated space.
