Dry brushing on figures
On figures, dry brushing is a technique of tiny doses. From an almost dry brush the paint catches on the highest places of the modeling, that is on the ridges of folds of cloth, on cheekbones, on finger joints, on belts and on the edges of equipment. The hollows stay dark and the figure gains plasticity without your having to bring out every edge by hand with a detail brush. It is precisely in small scales, though, that it shows how much paint is really left on the brush, so the excess is wiped off more thoroughly than with vehicles or buildings.
For figure painters and wargaming players who need to bring out the modeling of cloth, skin and organic surfaces. The coral shade is a color accent for fantasy and science-fiction subjects, for monsters, fabrics and accessories, not for military camouflage.
