DWARFS – QUICK GEN SET is a foursome of contrast paints of 18 ml each, put together for painting dwarf figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is put together so as to cover everything essential on a single dwarf figure: a warm flesh with a red cast, a dark leather brown for straps, belts and grips, a gray shadow for mail armor and riveted plates, and a turquoise blue for the fabric parts, pennants and shield devices. Each of the four bottles holds 18 ml.
All four colors belong to the Quick Gen contrast palette. They are laid on over a light base and create the transition by themselves: in the folds of beards, in ironbound seams and under the edges of plates they gather and darken, while on the raised places they stay light. A warband of several figures is thus finished in a fraction of the time that classic layering would take. Beards and furs come out best of all, because that is where the engraving tends to be deepest.
For tabletop games with a fantasy theme a set like this is practical above all when a player has a whole squad of the same type in front of them and wants the figures to look consistent. The colors can be rounded out with further tones of the same palette, for example metallic ones. It pays to keep the order from the lightest tone to the darkest.
Store out of the reach of children and leave the bottles closed. Shake the contents before work so that the settled pigment is dispersed again.
