Figures of Japanese paratroopers from the period of the Second World War in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Japanese airborne units were formed shortly before Japan entered the war in the Pacific, and they are talked about most in connection with the first year of the fighting, when they took part in the seizure of islands and ports in Southeast Asia. Both the army and the navy raised paratroopers of their own, and these differed from ordinary infantry in their dress and in equipment adapted to the jump. In the later course of the war these units were deployed mostly as infantry.
The package brings figures of Japanese paratroopers in 1:32 scale. For figures that is among the larger scales: an adult figure measures around five and a half centimeters in it, so the equipment, the carriage of the body and the face all stand out on it. The set suits a scene of its own as well as an addition to vehicles in the same scale.
Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry; paint does not hold on a greasy surface. Try the adhesion of the base on one piece and only then paint the rest of the set. Japanese field dress runs to muted earthy tones that easily merge into a single surface. A darker tone drawn into the folds, a lighter one pulled over the raised areas and the separation of the leather and the textile equipment by a different gloss will therefore help.
For modelers who build scenes from the fighting in the Pacific and for collectors of figures in a larger scale. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
