Photo-etched steel seat belts for the Ju 52/3mg4e model in 1:72 scale, a Zoom series set for Airfix kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
Seat belts are the small thing that decides whether a cabin looks lived in. In a kit they are usually only suggested by relief on the seat, whereas separate belts can be draped over the edge of the seat and left hanging freely. On the Ju 52 the seats are easy to see through the large windows and the entrance door, so the difference shows even in a small scale.
The name states the steel version of the seat belts and the Zoom series designation. The set is prepared for the Ju 52/3mg4e kit from Airfix in 1:72 scale. How many belts and what other parts the fret carries is given in the instructions supplied. Anyone building the Ju 52 for the first time will appreciate that the belts can be fitted even after the cabin is finished, as long as the seat is still accessible.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface; scissors would ripple the edge. A steel belt keeps the bend you give it, so gentle pressure with tweezers or a rounded handle is enough and the belt stays where you leave it. Use a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate glue to join them, because polystyrene cement has no effect on metal. If you are going to paint the belts, degrease the surface first and go over it with primer.
The set suits modelers who are building the Ju 52 and want to lift the interior with a quick upgrade that takes half an hour. Because of the size of the parts you will not manage without tweezers and good light. Have a sheet of paper ready on which small parts will not disappear, and work over a flat surface with no draft. The package holds photo-etched parts only; a kit, paints and glue are not supplied with them, unless stated otherwise.
