The real subject

The Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 was a British carrier fighter-bomber of the late 1940s and was among the last combat aircraft with a piston engine to enter squadron service. The radial engine gave it a short, stocky nose and a massive propeller, the cockpit sits high on the spine of the fuselage and under the large canopy there is a good view into it. That is also why working the interior out pays off on this type.

How the elements are applied

The elements of the SPACE range are printed on carrier paper. With a damp sponge and a drop of detergent, moisten only the paper, not the element itself, and as soon as the backing releases, lift the element off it with tweezers. Do not use a decal softener, it would attack the print. First paint the surface under the element and let the paint cure thoroughly, as the joint will not hold on fresh paint. Lay the element on a dry and degreased surface and fix it with a drop of white PVA glue, as the manufacturer does not recommend super glue. Press it down with a soft wooden stick from the center to the edges and work one piece at a time.
