1:16 German Tank Commander is an injection-molded plastic figure of a German tank commander of the Second World War in a large scale from Das Werk.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure of a seated German tank commander of the Second World War in the large collector's scale of 1:16. The set is laid out so that it goes together easily, and it includes a separate detail in the form of a cigarette. The relaxed pose with one arm resting on the rim of the hatch lets the figure be used with a range of vehicles.
The large 1:16 format lets the fine detail of the uniform, the face and the equipment come out. The seated pose is suited to fitting into commander's hatches without a cupola, so the figure will complement a tank, a reconnaissance vehicle or similar equipment and give a scene a human dimension and a lively impression.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean the seams up. Apply a primer before painting. In a large scale the transitions between shades come out well; the skin and the uniform can be modeled with layering and shading, and the eyes, the buttons and the fittings are finished with a fine brush.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
