Responsibility details are not available.
A large collector's figure of a Japanese samurai in 1:16 scale from the historical figure range by MiniArt. It is an injection-molded plastic kit of one figure to assemble and paint yourself, usually with a base for display. It is not a finished figure and not a vehicle model.
Samurai were members of the Japanese warrior class who for centuries served as fighters in the service of noble lords. They were marked out by carefully made lamellar armor, a helmet with ornaments, a sword (katana) and a bow or a spear. Besides fighting skills, an ethical code of loyalty and honor mattered to a samurai. Their armor and equipment are among the most striking and most decorated in the world history of warfare.
Separate the parts carefully from the sprues, clean up the parting seams and join them with liquid cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. In the large 1:16 scale the painting of the face and skin stands out, as does the colorful lamellar armor with its colored lacing; metal parts come to life with metallic highlights, while a fine glaze in the recesses emphasizes the fabric elements. The decorated parts of the armor can also be worked up with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
