Responsibility details are not available.
A large collector figure of the German fighter pilot Manfred von Richthofen, nicknamed the Red Baron, in 1:16 scale from the historical figures range of MiniArt. It is an injection-molded plastic kit of a single figure in period flying clothing, which the modeler assembles and paints. It is neither a finished figure nor a model of an aircraft.
Manfred von Richthofen was the most successful fighter pilot of the First World War, credited with 80 victories. He commanded the famous fighter wing Jagdgeschwader 1, nicknamed the Flying Circus for the colorful finishes of its aircraft, and became famous for his bright red Fokker Dr.I triplane, after which he was given the nickname the Red Baron. He was killed in action in April 1918 and became one of the best-known figures of the air war.
Carefully separate the parts from the sprues, clean up the mold seams and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. In the large 1:16 scale the painting of the face and the shades of skin stand out, as do the leather flying suit, the cap and the gloves; the leather items come alive with warm brown tones and a fine glaze in the folds. The decorations and accessories can be worked out with a fine brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
