Responsibility details are not available.
A large collector's figure of a trumpeter (a field musician) of the 2nd Westphalian Cuirassier Regiment of 1809 in 1:16 scale from the historical figure range by MiniArt. The word trumpeter in the name denotes the role of the figure - a regimental trumpet was used to pass on orders - not the manufacturer. It is an injection-molded plastic kit to assemble and paint yourself. It is not a finished figure and not a vehicle model.
Cuirassiers were the heavy cavalry of the Napoleonic era, protected by a metal cuirass (breastplate) and a helmet. A trumpeter in a cavalry regiment had an important task: trumpet signals carried the commander's orders through the noise of battle, and musicians therefore wore conspicuous uniforms. The 2nd Westphalian Cuirassier Regiment was a cavalry unit of the Napoleonic era; the year 1809 refers to the time of the extensive campaigns in central Europe.
Separate the parts carefully from the sprues, clean up the parting seams and join them with liquid cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. In the large 1:16 scale the painting of the face and skin stands out, as does the colorful uniform of a trumpeter; metallic highlights bring the cuirass and the helmet to life, while gold or brass tones suit the trumpet and the buttons. Bring out the harness, the cords and the folds of the cloth with a darker glaze.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
