An injection-molded plastic figure in 1:24 scale from the Master Box fantasy and science fiction line At the Edge of the Universe (Strange Company's Adventures, Episode III). The package contains parts for assembling one figure - a fighter nicknamed Parselen (Helen Parsons), a gladiator who wields two blades (a dimachaerus). The figure is assembled and painted; it is a collector's piece, not a model of a vehicle.
The At the Edge of the Universe series tells the story of a crew whose members find themselves in arena fights of the distant future. The character of Parselen is conceived as a charismatic champion with two weapons, with a striking costume and a dynamic stance that lets the painting show to advantage.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean the parting lines up carefully. Build the base up with primer. Painting the skin and the costume with glazes and a dry brush is rewarding, and with a science fiction subject it pays to experiment with color accents and metallic effects.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base beyond what is in the package are not included.
