This is a set of injection-molded plastic figures in 1:24 scale from the loose science fiction series At the Edge of the Universe. Strange Company's Adventures, specifically from episode II. The set contains a pair of figures of government special forces worked to a high sculptural standard. It comes as an unassembled and unpainted kit.
The figures tell the story of the pair before they became part of the band of adventurers. Dynamic poses and carefully worked detail on the gear make them a striking addition to science fiction dioramas and a display scene in their own right. The larger 1:24 scale lets the faces, the weapons and the folds of the clothing show.
Cut the parts off the sprues with a sharp knife, clean up the mold seams and glue them with plastic cement. For a convincing result an airbrush or a good brush suits; skin and fabrics can be painted with acrylics by laying in shadows and highlights. It is worth finishing the whole thing off with pigments and matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
