Responsibility details are not available.
A collector figure kit in 1:32 scale from a series devoted to the Greco-Persian Wars. It portrays a peltast, an ancient light infantryman, and is meant to be built and painted. It serves excellently as a display figure on its own and as part of a historical scene.
The peltast was a light infantryman of antiquity, named after the light shield called a pelte. Armed with javelins for throwing and with light equipment, he excelled in mobility and suited skirmishing, raids and pursuit. In the period of the Greco-Persian Wars and the conflicts that followed, peltasts formed an important part of ancient armies.
The figure has to be assembled and painted. Clean the parts of flash and mold seams, glue them together, and paint the surface in shades for cloth, leather, wood and metal. Glazes, washes and dry brushing help bring out the folds of the clothing, the texture of the shield and the metal detail of the equipment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
