A plastic kit of the German night fighter aircraft He 219 A-0, nicknamed Uhu, in 1:32.
Responsibility details are not available.
The He 219 was a German twin-engined night fighter of the Second World War with a crew of two. It differed from day fighters at first sight: a long slender cockpit set far forward, a nose landing gear instead of a tail wheel and a conspicuous aerial array of the airborne radar on the nose. The aircraft was among the first production machines fitted with ejection seats. The designation A-0 belongs to the early series, and the nickname Uhu is established and is commonly used for the type.
In 1:32 a twin-engined aircraft makes itself felt: the span of the assembled model is over half a meter and the length of the fuselage approaches fifty centimeters. Reckon therefore with room in a display case and with the model needing a stable base. At the same time the large scale rewards careful work on the cockpit and on the landing gear bays, because more will be seen of them than on smaller models. Separate the parts with side cutters, sand the remains of the attachment down and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
A night fighter suits a subdued finish with a light underside and carefully shaded panels; the exact schemes and markings are given in the instructions for the kit.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The contents of the package are stated on the manufacturer's box.
