Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-27 fighter in the Otsu version in 1:32 scale, with the Over Malaya decal edition. The model captures the typical fixed (non-retractable) landing gear with wheel spats, the radial engine and the glazed cockpit with a sliding canopy. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Nakajima Ki-27 (Allied code name Nate) was the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force at the end of the 1930s. This single-seat all-metal low-wing monoplane with a radial engine and fixed landing gear stood out for its exceptional agility, but it was only lightly armed and had no armor protection for the pilot. The Otsu version differed from the older machines in a modified canopy with better visibility. The type proved itself in the fighting over Khalkhin Gol and was also deployed in the early campaigns of the Second World War in Southeast Asia.
Glue the hard plastic parts with liquid model cement for plastic. Before painting, spray the whole model with a primer, which unifies the surface and brings out the small panel detail. An airbrush is ideal, and on natural metal surfaces a polishable metalizer helps. Build the fixed landing gear and its spats with the correct geometry in mind so that the model stands level. Mask the cockpit glazing before spraying.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
