A set of colored Kelik 3D decals for the cockpit of the light attack aircraft LTV A-7 D Corsair II in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not an airplane model. The pre-printed, three-dimensionally layered films capture the instrument panel, the side consoles and the seat in high relief. The parts are colored as they come from the factory and give the pilot's compartment a realistic depth without etched parts and hand painting.
The A-7 D Corsair II is the land-based version of the subsonic attack aircraft used by the US Air Force. It grew out of the carrier-borne Corsair II, was powered by a single jet engine and excelled in long range and in the weight of armament it could carry for precise strikes on ground targets. The D version differed from the naval E in its equipment and in a number of operational features.
Degrease the interior surfaces, let the decal soften and press it into the relief with a softener. A gentle wash and a matte clear coat will bring out the instruments and unify the surface. The set is intended for the land-based D version, so take care to match it to that type.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The aircraft kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
