Responsibility details are not available.
A premium multimedia kit of the German heavy fighter and fast bomber Messerschmitt Me 410A-1 Hornisse in the large 1:32 scale from the Czech manufacturer HPH Models. This is not classic injection-molded plastic; it is a demanding multimedia resin kit (resin, photo-etch and possibly white metal) for advanced collectors. The package combines resin parts with extras such as photo-etch, masks and decals. The build calls for experience of working with resin and for the right tools. Check the exact contents of the package against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Messerschmitt Me 410 Hornisse, meaning hornet, was a German twin-engine heavy fighter and fast bomber of the Second World War that followed on from the less successful Me 210 and removed a number of its shortcomings. The A-1 version was intended above all for the fast bomber role. Among other things the aircraft was marked by remotely operated side barbettes protecting the rear hemisphere. It was used on the Western Front, among other tasks against Allied bomber formations.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue, or the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter and sand with respiratory protection (a respirator), ideally wet, because resin dust is harmful. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate, CA) and reinforce the joints where necessary. Apply a primer before painting, then spray with an airbrush; work the metal and clear parts separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a demanding multimedia kit in resin with photo-etch and other extras. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
