Royal Model 1:32 the Red Baron - Manfred von Richthofen is a resin figure of the most famous fighter ace of the First World War, for display cases and dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's resin (polyurethane) figure in 1:32 scale from the Italian brand Royal Model depicting Manfred von Richthofen, the legendary Red Baron. The casting captures the period flying equipment and the features of the face with the care that good-quality casting resin allows. The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Cavalry Captain Manfred von Richthofen was the most successful fighter pilot of the First World War with eighty confirmed victories. He commanded a fighter wing nicknamed the Flying Circus and became famous for his brightly red-painted aircraft, among them the Fokker Dr.I triplane. He was killed in April 1918. The figure is a rewarding accessory to models of period aircraft as well as a collector's piece in its own right.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean up the parting lines. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting; the larger 1:32 scale invites careful painting of the face, the leather flying suit and the accessories with smooth transitions and shading.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
