An injection-molded plastic kit of a three-ton workshop (service) crane in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer MiniArt. The package contains plastic parts, photo-etched parts and a metal chain for a faithful rendering of the lifting mechanism. It is not a finished model: the crane is built and painted.
Portable and mobile workshop cranes of this type served during the Second World War and after it for removing engines, gearboxes and heavy assemblies from vehicles in field workshops as well as permanent depots. They are typical accessories for repair and rear-area scenes.
Separate the fine parts with a sharp knife and clean the flash off the mating surfaces. Glue the plastic with a thin modeling glue and the photo-etched parts with super glue. Apply a primer before painting; you will liven the steel structure up with metal shades, chipping and pigments for dust and grease. The metal chain looks best blackened and lightly picked out with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
