Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet armored vehicle for mine clearing BMR-1 in its early version, fitted with the KMT-5M mine-clearing equipment, in 1:35 scale from the maker MiniArt. The set holds plastic parts, photo-etched sheet, metal chains, clear parts and a decal sheet, and it is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is a detailed model intended for experienced modelers.
The BMR-1 was a Soviet armored engineer vehicle intended to break lanes through minefields. It was built on a tracked tank chassis and carried the KMT-5M mine-clearing set, which combined roller sweeps with a clearing plow. Vehicles of this kind allowed units to advance more safely through mined terrain.
The workable tracks and the fine photo-etched parts call for patience, so count on a longer build. Paint the running gear and the lower hull before they are finished. Lay a base coat on the model and then the covering shade with an airbrush; create the mud and dust effects with washes and pigments, above all on the mine-clearing equipment and the running gear. Glue the metal chains and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
