The model belongs to the range in which the MiniArt brand has covered equipment from the period of the First World War, including bus and truck forms of the same chassis. Scale 1:35 makes it possible to combine the model with figures and other period equipment.
The B-Type was a British bus chassis of the early twentieth century, built in large numbers in London. Because it was readily available and simple to maintain, it spread beyond city transport during the First World War and served in a number of modified forms. The design matches the period: a tall ladder frame, an open driver's station and wheels with solid rubber tires. The armored variant added sheet metal walls to the body.
Period vehicles have many thin and fragile parts, mainly on the wheels, the fenders and the frame, so it is worth separating them from the sprue with a sharp knife rather than nipping them right at the part. Try the assembly dry before you apply any glue. Finish the chassis and the wheels before fitting the body. When painting, a muted lightening of the base shade helps, along with a wash to bring out the riveted and sheet metal areas and a final layer of dust and mud on the wheels and the lower part of the frame. Do not paint the rubber of the tires black, as a muted gray looks more natural at this scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
