Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German anti-aircraft MG 151/20 Drilling triple cannon mount from the period of the Second World War in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. Drilling means a triple: the mounting coupled three 20 mm automatic cannons together for defense against low-flying aircraft. The set contains photo-etched parts, ammunition crates and 20 mm cases to bring a scene to life.
The MG 151/20 was originally an aircraft 20 mm cannon that proved itself in the ground anti-aircraft role in the closing stage of the war as well. In the triple Drilling mounting it offered a high density of fire and was installed, among other places, on the hulls of half-tracks and in static positions. It was an improvised but effective answer to Allied air superiority.
It is a small, detailed model: glue the fine photo-etch and the barrels with cyanoacrylate glue and work with a sharp knife. Use the ammunition crates and cases supplied for a small diorama or as an accessory to a vehicle. Bring out the metal of the barrels with a dark wash and a light rub of graphite, and render the wooden crates with glazes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and the accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
