Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Renault FT-17 light tank in the version with a cast turret, in 1:35 scale from Meng. It is a richly equipped kit with a full interior of the hull and the turret, a detailed engine and an engine compartment that opens. Photo-etched and metal parts, working suspension and workable track links are included. The turret offers a choice of three armament variants.
The Renault FT-17 was a French light tank from the end of the First World War and one of the most influential tanks in history. It was the first to introduce the layout that became standard: a fully rotating turret, the driver at the front and the engine at the rear. It was built in large numbers, served in many countries and was still seeing combat at the beginning of the Second World War.
Finish and paint the full interior of the hull and the turret and the engine before closing them up. Use a thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched and metal parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush; the FT-17 carried a range of camouflage schemes from single-color to multicolor divided patterns. Bring out the engraved detail with a wash and lift the cast turret and the running gear with a dry brush and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
