The model captures the Soviet medical vehicle built on the chassis of the well-known three-axle truck and comes as an unassembled and unpainted set with richly detailed parts. Clear parts for the glazing, fine body details and a decal sheet with several marking options are usually included.
The GAZ-05-194 was the ambulance derivative of the Soviet cross-country truck, serving the Red Army to carry the wounded behind the front line. The closed box body with space for stretchers was based on the proven three-axle chassis, which had shown its worth in demanding field conditions. Vehicles of this type were standard equipment of medical units during the Second World War.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. It is best to assemble and paint the chassis, the engine and the interior of the box body before closing up the bodywork. Apply a primer with the airbrush, then the top shade, and create the weathering with washes and pigments that bring out the panel detail of the body and the chassis. Fit the glazing only after the paintwork is finished.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
