The GAZ-AA was a Soviet light truck with a payload of about 1.5 tons, popularly called the poltorka. It was built under license from an American Ford and became one of the most widespread two-axle trucks of the Red Army and of the Soviet economy. It carried cargo and troops and served as a chassis for all kinds of bodies. Its two axles distinguish it from the three-axle GAZ-AAA.
Glue the plastic with a liquid modeling cement and fit the small parts with care. Assemble and paint the chassis, the engine and the cab before they are closed up in larger subassemblies. We recommend a primer and an airbrush; green or civilian shades come to life with lightening, washes in the recesses and pigments for mud effects on the wheels and the underside.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
