A set of workable tracks of the Gg26/800/300 type for the King Tiger heavy tank in 1:35 scale from Rye Field Model. It is not a tank model but a detail accessory with which you replace the tracks out of the box. The set contains the individual track links and the drive sprockets; once assembled the tracks stay workable, so they follow the ground and the road wheels faithfully.
Clean the flash off the links carefully and assemble them step by step; do not glue the moving joints solid, so that the track stays flexible. Paint and weather the tracks separately before fitting them to the model; a dark base and rust and dust pigments will give them a realistic look. Fit the track onto the finished running gear only at the end.
The set will be appreciated by more advanced modelers building the King Tiger who want realistic sag and detail on the tracks. Check the exact number of links and full compatibility against the enclosed instructions and your particular kit.
