This injection-molded plastic kit captures the modern German self-propelled howitzer Panzerhaubitze 2000 in 1:35 scale. The package holds parts in hard plastic, a turned metal barrel, photo-etched parts and tracks with movable links that are assembled without glue. The commander's and the crew hatches can be built open or closed.
The Panzerhaubitze 2000 is among the most modern self-propelled howitzers in the world. It uses a number of chassis components related to the Leopard tanks and carries a gun of 155 mm caliber. It entered service with the German army at the end of the 1990s and serves in the armies of the Netherlands, Italy and Greece as well.
Assemble the movable suspension and the tracks before closing the hull. Degrease the metal barrel before painting. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement, apply a base coat (primer) and spray with an airbrush. To bring out the relief, use washes and pigments for dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
