An injection-molded plastic kit of the German D8506 tractor with a trailer in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer MiniArt. The finely worked-out model includes a Lanz Bulldog type tractor and a towed trailer. The package usually holds plastic sprues, photo-etched parts, clear parts and decals, and in some releases also figures and a load; check the particular contents against the instructions in the given package.
The D8506 is one of the tractors of the Lanz Bulldog line from the German company Heinrich Lanz of Mannheim. The Bulldogs were among the most widespread German tractors and were made famous by a robust single-cylinder hot-bulb engine and a simple, durable design. During the Second World War they can be met with the forces as well - the Luftwaffe used them as tractors for aircraft and loads at airfields, and the Wehrmacht deployed them in the rear for transport and supply, because they coped well even with muddy ground.
Build the tractor and the trailer as separate subassemblies and paint them separately for the sake of access. Finish the engine and the running gear before you close the hood. Bring the base shade to life with modulation, bring out the seams and the rivets with a wash and add mud and dust pigments to the lower parts and the wheels - they underline the working character of the vehicle well. We recommend an airbrush and a liquid cement for plastic, and cyanoacrylate glue for the photo-etch.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
