The Miniart German tractor T-70(r) and 7.62 cm gun Fk288(r) is a detailed plastic kit of captured equipment in German service, in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from Miniart captures a captured Soviet T-70 light tank converted into an artillery tractor in German service, together with a captured gun of 7.62 cm caliber. The model is richly broken up and comes with photo-etched parts and crew figures, which makes it a more demanding build for more experienced modelers.
The Soviet T-70 light tank was in a number of cases captured during the Second World War and used by German units under the designation T-70(r); Soviet artillery was taken over in the same way. The combination of tractor and gun illustrates the common practice of using captured equipment in security and rear-area units.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic; attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Finish the running gear and the interior before closing the hull. For weathering use washes and pigments; paint the figures separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
