The Humber Scout Car was a British light armored reconnaissance vehicle of the Second World War. The first prototypes appeared at the beginning of the 1940s, series production ran through the war and over four thousand were built in all. The vehicle served for reconnaissance, liaison and escort; the version with a pair of Vickers K machine guns gave the crew quick defensive firepower. The model captures the form used at the time of the Normandy landings.
Finish the interior first, because once the hull is closed it will be harder to reach. Bend the photo-etched parts on a bending tool or against a ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the base with primer and the main color with an airbrush, and add washes and pigments for the mud and dust effects typical of vehicles from the fighting in Normandy.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
