A plastic kit of an Israeli main battle tank to the usual standard of this brand. The set has more than 800 parts and contains photo-etched parts, working suspension and individually assembled functional tracks including an assembly jig for putting them together. The finished model measures approximately 26.5 cm in length. The manufacturer is the Chinese brand Meng.
Magach 6B is the Israeli designation of a tank derived from the American M60A1. The qualifier Gal refers to the fire control system that was fitted, Batash to the later upgrade standard of the vehicle, which included among other things changes to the armor protection of the turret and the hull. The main armament was a 105 mm gun, supplemented by a coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun and further machine guns at the commander's and the loader's hatch.
Finish the running gear and the inside of the hull before you close the hull up. Assemble the tracks in sections with the help of the enclosed assembly jig and let them cure properly before fitting, otherwise they lose their natural sag. Bend the photo-etched parts over a metal ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with cement for plastic. After spraying the base color, bring out the detail with a dark wash, apply dust and mud with pigments from the bottom upward and keep the edge chipping sparing, so that the model does not look artificial.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
