Photo-etched parts and decals for more than one version are usually included; check the exact contents against the box.
The M1070 Gun Truck is an improvised fighting vehicle of the US Army based on the M1070 heavy tractor, to which the crews added armor and a machine gun superstructure. Vehicles of this type served mainly to escort and protect military convoys in areas threatened by ambush. The massive chassis carries the great weight of the armor and the weapons, which makes the tractor a tough escort platform.
First assemble and paint the chassis, the drivetrain and the axles, and only then close the cab and the body — the mechanical parts are hard to reach afterwards. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement, the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate and the clear window parts with a cyanoacrylate that does not fog. Unify the base with a primer and spray the desert shade with an airbrush. The weathering is provided by washes and dust pigments on the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
