This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from MiniArt captures the American M3 Lee medium tank in the late production version. The set stands out with its fine surface modeling, clear parts and photo-etched parts; workable (individual link) tracks and decals for several marking options are in the box as well.
The M3 Lee was an American medium tank of the early Second World War. Its characteristic feature was the dual armament: a 75mm gun in a side sponson casemate of the hull and a 37mm gun in the upper American-pattern rotating turret with a small machine gun cupola. M3 tanks served with the American army as well as with the Allies, among other places in North Africa.
On an armored vehicle, assemble the running gear and the suspension before you close up the hull. Glue the individual link tracks patiently and let them cure so that they follow the wheels well. Use liquid cement on the plastic and spray the model with an airbrush over a primer. The character of the tank is completed by picking out the rivets and edges, washes in the recesses and dust or mud pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
