A demanding injection-molded plastic kit of the American M3 Lee medium tank in the mid production batch, 1:35 scale, from Miniart. It is the version with a full interior: the package holds a detailed inside of the fighting and driving compartments, the engine and the engine mount, photo-etched parts, clear parts and decals for several machines. The model is supplied unassembled.
The M3 Lee was an American medium tank of the early Second World War with an unusual armament layout: the 75 mm gun sat in a hull sponson and the 37 mm gun in a rotating turret. Despite its limitations it played an important part at a time when the Allies were only building up their armored forces, and it proved itself above all in the fighting in North Africa.
An interior kit is meant for experienced modelers. Work from the inside out to the hull, and paint and weather the interior before you close the hull up. Prepare the running gear and the workable tracks separately; the outer surfaces can be lifted with washes and dust pigments. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
