An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from a modern Meng tool. The model depicts the Israeli upgrade of the American M60-series tank as it served in the Israeli armored forces. The package includes plastic sprues, photo-etched parts and a workable running gear with separate track links; the exact contents are listed on the box.
Magach is the Israeli umbrella designation for upgraded American Patton-family tanks, that is, the M48 and M60. The 6B GAL version is based on the M60 and received stronger armor protection, an upgraded fire-control system, and a range of details adapted for service in the Middle East. Its main armament remains a 105 mm gun. These vehicles formed the backbone of Israeli tank units for decades.
Finish the running gear and tracks first, and only then close up the hull. Glue the plastic parts with thin liquid cement, and apply a primer before painting. The base Israeli shade (Sinai Grey) sprays best with an airbrush; washes in the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear and lower areas give the tank its character.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
