This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter represents the Soviet MAZ-7313 heavy off-road truck with drive to all eight wheels. The extensive set offers a well worked out cab, a complete drivetrain and the suspension, and it is complemented by metal parts, copper wire and a photo-etched fret.
The MAZ-7313 is an 8x8 off-road vehicle from the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ). This range of heavy vehicles served the army as a universal load carrier and as a chassis under the most varied military equipment. The truck handles a heavy load even in difficult terrain thanks to its powerful diesel engine and drive to all axles.
Assemble and paint the cab and the chassis with the drivetrain as sub-assemblies before you join them, as the details of the engine and the axles are then easier to reach. Use a thin cement on the plastic and glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate. After the base coat with an airbrush, bring the truck to life with accentuated edges, washes and dust pigments on the chassis and the fenders.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
