The Men refuelling scene consists of resin figures in 1:35 scale caught topping up the fuel of a vehicle.

This figure set from Royal Model captures men refuelling. It is one of the few subjects that works without a single shot being fired: working figures and equipment behind them are enough for a closed story that the viewer grasps at a glance.
The supply of fuel decided a campaign just as much as gunfire did. Tanks were filled by hand from twenty-liter jerrycans, whose pressed shape with three ribs and a folding handle proved itself so well that the other side adopted it too. Every refuelling involved a funnel, a rag under the filler neck and above all time, and that is exactly why columns of supply vehicles trailed behind the combat units, which makes a rewarding subject for a diorama.
Resin figures tend to be split into torso, head and limbs, so they can be turned slightly and adapted to a particular vehicle. Assemble the figures dry before gluing and check how far the arms will reach. The castings are degreased and primed, and only then does the paint come. Working clothes will take more dirt than a dress uniform, so oil stains, dirty knees and darker palms will add credibility to the scene.
The figures come without a base and without paints.
