Set of workable tracks for the Panther tank model in the Ausf.A and Ausf.G versions, 1:35 scale. The track is made up of individual links, so the finished run is flexible.
Responsibility details are not available.
A workable track is made up of individual links joined so that they stay free to pivot. The finished track can be bent and seated exactly to the shape of the running gear, which is impossible with a one-piece track. The result looks more natural above all where the track runs down to the drive sprocket and the idler wheel.
The Panther was a German medium tank of the Second World War, and the Ausf.A and Ausf.G versions belong to its later production batches. Both ran on a wide track, which lowered the tank's ground pressure on soft going. The 660 mm track width of the real vehicle works out at just under 19 mm in 1:35 scale. The Panther had no return rollers; the upper run of the track rests on top of the road wheels, so the sag turns out differently than on tanks with rollers.
Allow time for it. The links are cleaned up and joined one by one and both runs need a lot of them, so work in shorter sections and leave the joints loose until you seat the track. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; the procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Painting is easier once the track is assembled but not yet fitted to the running gear. Before you fix the track permanently, try it dry on the model and check that it sits tooth by tooth on the drive sprocket.
Paints, glue and filler are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
