The kit represents the modern Chinese light tank ZTQ15 in 1:35 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from the maker Meng out of a modern mold. The model offers faithfully rendered details, workable suspension of the wheels and hatches that can be opened, which allow a more striking display.
The ZTQ15 is a light tank of the Chinese People's Liberation Army designed for commitment in mountainous and broken terrain, where heavy tanks would be impractical. It combines modern armor, a powerful weapon and good mobility, thanks to which it serves with units operating in high-altitude areas. It ranks among the newest types of Chinese armored hardware.
Finish the running gear before the hull is closed and make use of the workable suspension for seating the model on a broken base. Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic. The vehicle comes into its own in a modern camouflage laid on with an airbrush; you will create the patina, the dust and the mud with washes and pigments at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
