Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light tank Pz.38(t) Ausf.E/F in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The model faithfully captures the compact shape of the vehicle with its strong riveted structure and rotating turret. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted; for the exact contents of the package, follow the data on the box.
The Pz.38(t) was originally a Czechoslovak light tank (the LT vz. 38), which after the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939 was taken over and put into production by the German army under the designation 38(t). It was a reliable and mechanically successful vehicle armed with a 3.7 cm gun, which the Germans used in large numbers, especially in the early phase of the Second World War including the campaign on the Eastern Front. The Ausf.E/F versions were among the renderings with strengthened armor. The 38(t) chassis later became the basis for a range of tank destroyers and self-propelled guns.
Use thin modeling cement for plastic and clean the parts up carefully, so that the fine rivets on the armor show. Finish and paint the running gear (the wheels, the rollers and the tracks) separately before you close the hull. Apply the base coat with an airbrush, add a wash into the pressings and around the rivets and bring out the edges with a dry brush. Fine-tune the dust and mud effects on the running gear and the lower hull with pigments. Paint any commander figure separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
