The model captures the open special operations vehicle with a well rendered engine and a mounting for the machine gun. The package usually contains clear parts, a photo-etched part and rubber tires; take the exact contents from the instructions supplied.
The RSOV, that is, the ranger special operations vehicle, served the American 75th Ranger Regiment as a light and mobile means of transport. The vehicle grows out of a Land Rover Defender chassis and the US Army took it into service at the beginning of the 1990s as a replacement for an older light car. It was used for moving troops quickly, for reconnaissance and for direct fire support thanks to the mounted machine gun.
Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and fit the small parts thoughtfully. Finish and paint the chassis, the engine and the interior before larger assemblies close them in. A primer and an airbrush are the way to go; you can bring a desert or green scheme to life by lightening the surfaces, with washes into the recesses and with pigments for dust effects on the wheels and the underside.
