This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale captures the Russian light armored vehicle K-4386 Typhoon-VDV meant for airborne units. The set from Meng offers a detailed interior of the cab and the crew compartment, working suspension and a steerable front axle, accurate photo-etched parts and clear parts for the lights and the windows. The doors can be built open or closed.
The K-4386 Typhoon-VDV is a modern four-wheeled armored vehicle developed for the Russian airborne forces. It is marked out by composite ceramic and steel armor and by a remotely operated weapon station with a 30 mm automatic cannon, which gives it considerable firepower. The vehicle is designed for rapid deployment and for protecting the crew against mines and projectiles.
Finish and paint the interior before closing the hull up, so that it shows through the open doors. Spray the base with a primer and the main shade with an airbrush. You create weathering with washes in the recesses and dust pigments on the chassis and the wheels.
