An injection-molded plastic kit of the German assault gun StuG III Ausf. G in the production form of the MIAG company from the period December 1944 to March 1945, in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. As a so-called interior kit it contains complete internal equipment, photo-etched parts, clear parts and individual track links, and the decal sheet supplied offers several marking options.
The StuG III was the most widespread German assault gun of the Second World War, built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. The late Ausf. G variant was produced by several companies including MIAG and differed in a number of production details. The combination of a low silhouette and the 7.5 cm gun made it an effective means of infantry support and of anti-tank defense alike.
A full interior invites building step by step and painting the fighting compartment before the hull is closed up, and the hatches can be left open for a view inside. Use cyanoacrylate glue for the small and photo-etched parts. A primer and an airbrush for the base, and washes and pigments for the mud and dust effects of late-war service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
