Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet SU-122 self-propelled gun in the mid production form in 1:35 scale from Miniart. The model is typical for the fine breakdown of parts and the rich detail that Miniart offers on armored vehicles. The 1:35 scale gives room for a faithful finish.
The SU-122 was a Soviet self-propelled gun of the Second World War period, built on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank. In a closed casemate it carried a 122 mm howitzer and served for direct fire support of infantry and for destroying fortifications. The mid production series differed from the early and late examples in small modifications to the hull and the equipment.
Finish the running gear and any interior before you close the hull. Separate the fine parts and the tools on the hull carefully. A uniform base laid on with an airbrush is advisable, with the panels brought out by a wash and the surface finished with dust and mud pigments for a faithful patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
