Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet medium tank T-44M from the maker MiniArt. It is a richly detailed model with finely broken up sprues, photo-etched and transparent parts and decals for several marking options. The kit is a more demanding one and rewards careful builders with a wealth of fine parts. Check the exact number of parts and schemes on the packaging.
The T-44 was a Soviet medium tank following on from the famous T-34, with a more modern concept of the hull and a transversely mounted engine, which allowed a lower and more compact silhouette. The T-44M version is a postwar modernization with an improved powerplant and running gear, which kept the tanks in service for many years after the war. In design terms the T-44 foreshadowed the later T-54 and T-55 series of tanks.
Assemble and align the running gear before closing up the hull and give time to the individual track links if the box contains them. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, the small and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue: proceed slowly and exactly according to the instructions, because there are many parts. We recommend a base of primer and an airbrush in thin coats. Bring the Soviet green to life with color modulation and a filter for depth of the shade, let the washes flow into the details and the welds, and apply mud and dust with pigments on the running gear and the lower areas for a realistic patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
